All our fishing trips begin early Sunday morning with a flight from Anchorage to Talaheim. Our trips end on Saturday evening after a days fishing. Flights from Talaheim back to Anchorage are around 5pm.

These three weeks offer some great fly fishing for king salmon, plus as always rainbow trout, char, and grayling. Great time to mouse for rainbows. Try one of our double handed fly rods for king salmon.

This week is our special “couple’s week”. Guys bring your wives or lady friend on a fishing adventure. Lots of extras to keep the women excited… Long shore lunches with a glass of wine, wine tasting, hors-d’oeuvres on the mountain top, and of course great fishing and lots of instruction for beginning fly fishermen (or women).
July 21st - 27th - 4 Openings Available
The king salmon are spawning and behind them lie hungry rainbow trout. If you are looking for numbers per day of trout being caught, this is these two weeks are what you are looking for. Match the hatch with egg patterns or skim a mouse across the water for some great top water trout fishing. Four species of freshly arriving Pacific salmon entering our waters during these two weeks…pinks, chum, reds, and silvers. As always, great angling for char and artic grayling.
July 28th - August 3rd - FULL No Openings

The silvers are in. Catch a silver on a dry fly or streamer. Most of the silvers are holding in schools in deep pools. These weeks are the beginning of our fall fishing for fattened trout and char. Our char and trout fishing takes place behind lots of spawning salmon. Lots of trout and char 18-22 inches and beyond.
August 11th - August 17th - FULL No Openings
The silvers are in. Catch a silver on a dry fly or streamer. Most of the silvers are holding in schools in deep pools. These weeks are the beginning of our fall fishing for fattened trout and char. Our char and trout fishing takes place behind lots of spawning salmon. Lots of trout and char 18-22 inches and beyond.

The silvers are in. Catch a silver on a dry fly or streamer. Most of the silvers are holding in schools in deep pools. These weeks are the beginning of our fall fishing for fattened trout and char. Our char and trout fishing takes place behind lots of spawning salmon. Lots of trout and char 18-22 inches and beyond.

Fall has come and this is the time for serious trout anglers. Cast a #6 weight rod into our waters and watch the “leopard trout” slam your fly. Large trout and char behind spawning red salmon. Great time, fall colors, a trout fisherman’s dream.
