Daily Schedule

GETTING YOU INTO FISH IS OUR TOP PRIORITY

Getting you out in the Alaskan wild is of utmost importance to our luxury fishing lodge experience, so we do our best to maintain a daily schedule that ensures anglers spend ample time in our waters.

During the week, guests will fly out by helicopter six days and explore local waters by boat one day.

After a relaxing breakfast at the lodge around 7:30am, guests will suit up for that day’s adventure. A stream-side lunch is prepared by your personal guide, either served picnic style or around the campfire.

Guests are picked up via helicopter and delivered back to Talaheim around 5pm where they enjoy appetizers and drinks while swapping fishing stories.

Dinner is served around 7:00pm, after which you can decide to cozy up to your spouse in our hot tub or tell stories with your buddies around the campfire.

The main lodge is typically shut down by 10pm, but guests can retire to their personal cabins for an evening night cap or a stroll with our dogs on the runway.

But don’t let the midnight sun fool you, a peaceful sleep awaits and invites you, far from the city noises and distractions.

Non-fishing spouses or family members can choose to remain at the main lodge for a day or two, but please note this is not recommended for the entire week.

MORE ON THE AGENDA

Typically guests who are going the closest go out first and come home first. Guests going next furthest go out second, come home second. Thus everybody gets same amount of fishing time, around 7 to 8 hours.
Helicopters can fly in most everything except fog. If its foggy, it rarely lasts all day. Usually it lifts by 10:00 or 11:00 am. So in that case we often take guests out by jet boat and when the fog lifts, we take them out by helicopter.
If you want a shortened fishing day you’ll need to alert staff before you head out, and we will do everything possible to accommodate your request given that day’s flight schedule.
